DAY 2:
13.5 miles David Logan-> Sucker Brook shelter. Good weather. Met Emily (who BQ mentioned was coming thru) just after lunch @ Sunset. Lots of day hikers on Horrid Mtn. Enjoyed the horrid cliffs. Having a less enjoyable time with the mileage in this colder weather. Thinking about postponing my final leg for warmer times. I can certainly do it, and get it done, but the extra labor involved with working below 40°F on a regular basis may not be worth the pictures I get (really below 0°C everything gets fucky— camera batteries lose charge, fuel starts to lose efficiency before failing around -7°C, extra mattress and eventually second quilt add space + weight, microspikes + perhaps ice axe are needed).
