INTERLUDE: RUTLAND - MIDDLEBURY GAP [104.5 - 135.0]
DAY 1
13.2 miles Rutland -> David Logan shelter. Had lunch with a Slovakian woman named Breakfast Queen at that first shelter there. It’s a lot colder at night these days. I expected low 40s-upper 30s but it seems like it’s going to be low 30s all the way through. I’m resting comfortably but wearing most of my clothing in my quilt. Gonna need heavier gear for Nov. Today was a bit shit just because we were up at 5 and it’s been a week of bad sleep.
